Shutterspots

Post by swampgecko » 06 August 08 7:08 am

I didn't want them listed on the GCA site, but it occurred anyway.

Now I have a problem. I had to archive one of my shutterspots, due to the fact that the feature item has been physically removed. I have archived it on Scout's site. But I am unable to archive it here, I have added an Archived tag, but I want to make the fact stand out more, just like when a cache gets archived, the font colour changes to red and gets the lined out effect.

Any chance of being able to be allowed to edit the shutterspots, to reflect their true status against Scout's site?

Which one? They should get archived by the feed. If it's not happening, it's a possible bug.

Ok I had archived it ages ago on Scout's site, but now today it has come up as archived on GCA... no idea.. all I did today was make a tag "archived"

I asked Scout about about the feed:

I don't know. I think I provided information on how to do it once, but I don't know if GCA set up a system to pull the data and whether they are still doing it. I believe the pull would follow the rules of the profile of the player doing the pulls. If he isn't logged in to GPSgames.org, then archived Shutterspots would not be included in the pull.
