Your caching name is incorrect.

# Geocaching Australia: J. Edgar (Map)
# Groundspeak: ClanCowpat
(from the ClanCowpat listing)

and

Groundspeak: J.Edgar
(From the J.Edgar listing)

The gc.com ClanCowpat name is linked to the gca J.Edgar name

The Groundspeak: J.Edgar one is not linked.
There are 20 finds on Groundspeak for that name.

ClanCowpat does not exist on gc.com but that's the one you requested be set up here on 18 March.

If you want to use ClanCowpat as your caching name you need to change to it it on gc.com first. If not I can change the caching name here to J.Edgar so its the same on both sites.

Sheee-it. So, I should only log once? Dang-do-dee-diddly-doo-dah!!
:x

I can delete the duplicate logs here on GCA easily enough, right? That should clean up the mess, I hope.

It's my own fault. When I wrote my first log at GC.com, it didn't appear here at GCA. So, I assumed I would need to copy it and log it here. Clearly, I didn't wait long enough for it to come through.

However, when I look at MY PAGE I see a list of the caches for ClanCowpat. Then when I look at a cache log, then I can see one log for J.Edgar (GC.com) and one for ClanCowpat (GCA).

Okay, I'll delete all the logs. To clean it up.

Sorry about the confusion. :?

Hiya J Edgar,

Yes, you can delete any duplicates you don't want here on GCA. I've also added a warning note for when someone tries to add a log to a gc.com cache. It's a common mistake, and we'll probably turn off logging entirely for non-GCA caches at some point.
