Dashboard stats

Post by Bewilderbeest » 07 November 07 9:05 pm

I just noticed that on the Australia dashboard, the cache 'First to Florey' is listed as having 5 finds. When I went to the ACT dashboard, it shows as having 11 finds.

I haven't checked others, but I would have expected all stats to come from one source and to therefore be consistent. Any ideas what's happening?

It shows 11 at the moment on both dashboards.

The main page dashboard is generated on the hour. It's not real time due to the volume of data it would have to get through, so there is a possibility that on the hour there were 5 finds.

The state dashboard is generated in real time so it would show 11.

Thanks C@W, that makes sense - although it's still showing 5 for me, but I'm assuming this is a caching thing (by which I mean computer memory, not hunting for lunchboxes!) or something similarly technical.

Yes, I did but the numbers didn't change. I'm just putting it down to gremlins/something in my browser...
