Stats not the same as GC

Why do my number of finds on GCA differ from GC. I seem to have 2 that i have found which are not showing?

Sometimes they take an age to come down. Have a look at a forum topic 'disturbance in the feed'. I've learned patience.

There are two easy ways to fix this.

http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Uploading_logs
This is you are missing lots and lots of logs.

The easier way is simply COPY the text of your log from GC, then go to the GCA cache and use the LOG THIS CACHE link.
Set the right date, set it to found, paste in the log and hit the submit button.
Instant gratification.

Shouldn't create duplicates.

You're missing Crossing Bats and Brisbane Oddities - Showdown if I'm not mistaken.

I've followed caught@works suggestions but I am still 70 or more different. I have given up (a few people have helped me too - thanks very much for your patience). I know it's not the GCA site - its very good. It is something technical.
Not to worry though. It's not about the numbers - it about what you see on the journey.

clear skies, Astro.

The 1 find difference is the movable GCA cache you found. GCA tally doesn't accumulate onto the GC cache tally. In a nutshell, GC downloads caches & stats into GCA but GCA caches & stats don't upload in GC. I could try to explain this but you would be better off browsing the multiple posts about this phenomena throughout the GCA forums.<P>Always ask the question, it wasn't long ago that most of us asked the same thing...... ... Not quite right.
ruzzelz has 28 GC finds and only 27 at GCA.
If we take away the moving cache from the 27 at GCA, that gives him an overall count of 26.
He is missing 2.

Try it now. The local Fairyz have been working hard.
