This is going to sound strange coming from a Queenslander but I think there is a problem with a gnome hiding at Melbourne uni.
I took a Queensland gnome to an event last weekend. At that event a 'new' gnome Graeme (GA8019) was logged as found and the finder added the co-ordinates of the event to the found log which means that Graeme moved 1300 odd kms. The thing is, I am an enthusiastic moveables hunter and the I haven't had the opportunity to find a gnome yet this year but at the event the only gnome I saw or heard about was my own, Flappy. Which makes me wonder if there is a mix up. There was only one event log online for Graeme and none for Flappy (GA7998 if you want to check).
I've contacted both the gnome owner and the cacher who logged Graeme at the event, but haven't heard anything back. So I guess what I am saying is if you are heading out to Melbourne Uni to find Gnomeo (GA7904) its possible Graeme is still in position at his last moved co-ordinates. Just suggesting thats all.
With a lack of gnomes to find in my own area

I am having to resort to being a gnome PI. Although if Graeme has actually made it to the Gold Coast, I'll be hopping in my (borrowed from my employer - Robin Masters) red Ferrari GTS and will be out there looking for him.
