Yep, definitely a big gamer here ([Mr] Ksix that is). Predominantly play on the PC, but have got an Xbox and a couple of DS's for the kids. If the kids are good, ,they might even find a WII under the tree for them all to "share"!!! Here in Brisvegas, I use to attend a monthly LAN gaming day (BRISLAN...

We very much dislike it more when we log a DNF on a cache only to see someone that very afternoon (or next day) log "quick easy find" or "found without any trouble" etc etc

Guess it comes down to

"Some days you've got it and others NOT !!!"

C...

Went with the Vista HCx! 10 days shipping apparently... I can't wait! Good decision 8) While you're waiting for it to arrive you can buy yourself a Micro SD card (it doesn't come with one) and download the Shonkymaps and Open Street Maps of your area Also have and read up on the GSAK macro that wil...

Not sure what Ryda are like, but I know when I bought our Oregon 300, they were roughly the same price as Johnny Appleseed. We went with Johnny Appleseed in the end, mainly because they have a store only 10-15 minutes from where I work. The guys I spoke with at JA were very knowledgeable and the ser...

So does anyone know with the Nuvi255, when it arrives it has City Nav NT maps, but do I need a microSD card to add POIs or does it leave a couple of MB spare in the internal memory for POIs before needing a card? The specs say it has 0mb internal memory and to use the MicroSD cards... maybe I can d...

The latest firmware update (version 2.6) for the Oregon has made some great improvements. One of the biggest negatives for the Oregon was the process you had to go through just to enter co-ordinates for a new location (very cumbersome  ). The latest update, has totally changed how co-ordinates ...

I'd actually pick the Oregon over the Colorado. The Oregon has no buttons (except for the power button), all touch screen, no rocker wheel, and is very easy to use. Simply drag and drop a GPX file to the unit and you're away. I use to use a very similar methad of caching to what you described, GSAK,...
