I was thinking, I have topo maps on BaseCamp - I wonder whether I can upload from there?

Garmin winning no friends from me at this stage. I logged a help request with them. Just an auto response saying we will get to it shortly. Then nothing. I posted on the Garmin Connect Facebook page with the same query wondering when I would hear from them. I got a response within a couple of hours ...

On Saturday, whilst using the Oregon, it reset itself to factory settings. I had to recalibrate it, change all the settings back to metric etc but now when ever switching on, I get a "CAN'T UNLOCK MAPS" message and I no longer have access to the topographic maps. If they're not in a series, and particularly if they're not by the same hider, never. Each hider has taken time to hide the cache so surely a few words about that cache is the least you can do to repay their efforts (regardless of it being a micro etc etc etc). Speacking off interesting log, does anyone know which geocaches was the first to be hidden? Why don't you start your own thread? They are free you know. Which was easily ......... no, I really couldn't be bothered !

Let me just say.......diplomatically of course because we don't put the boot into GC here, there have been a few probs of late with the ACT reviewer, bless his cotton socks !
