Re: iPhone Apps

Okay so where did people get their iphones from? Any good deals out there?

What about the ml_ipod app? Has anyone tried that one?

Re: Have you cached on Christmas Day?

Yes I have.
Whenever I hear that song "Do they know it's Christmas" I always think :-k 'Do they care?' and 'Have they had enough of having Christian values rammed down their throat?' and 'Who are we to tell other people how to live?' but I digress :-#

Re: Rewards Items for FTF

I get a beta tester to find my cache before I put it up for review (and provide some feedback) and they get a scratchie for their efforts. This could be seen as promoting gambling but it's only meant to show appreciation.

I figure cachers get enough glory of a FTF so that its own reward :)

Re: Are Nanos real caches?

For me geocaching is about the journey and the location, not about a tricky little hide. If I have a hard time finding a cache, I've discovered (rightly or wrongly) that I didn't enjoy that cache or location. If I spend all my time looking for the cache then I don't take in the location as much. I'v...

Re: Re:

I'll take it one step further and ask what gives cachers the right to attach these things to public property? Oh yes that opens up a big can of worms  I had a cache knocked back because it was hidden on a transformer (despite having found many hidden in exactly the same way in the same kind ...

Re:

Some of you may have seen my cemetery macro: I'm a bit wary of cemetery hides... Just imagine if you weren't a cacher and you caught someone looking for some plastic box game thing near your loved one's final resting place. Bear in mind that _you_ know where it is, but there are some single-minded ...

Start to see why godaddy are so big? They've got it down to a fine art, and their prices are good (if you resisit all the extras they try to tempt you with!) Their hosting's pretty good, too, at least for the light use I put it to! Good to hear that the Bear/Ump is alive! Now that's been establishe...

Re: [OT] Motherboard selection. Tips anyone?

I'd be suprised if you can't get the drivers for Windows 7 for your machine but they are available for Vista64??? If you can get your machine working with Vista64 it will work with Windows 7. Even though it has a different name, Windows 7 is basically a fixed up/prettied up version of Vista (basica...

Re: [OT] Motherboard selection. Tips anyone?

Anyone got a copy of Vista 64 Bit that they no longer want :?: I finally got around to building that box with a little stimulus from Kevin  I haven't got an OS for it yet and Windows 7 doesn't seem to have any drivers for my components. I ended up with; an ASUS P5Q3, Q8400, 4Gb DDR3 Ram 1600, ...

Hi my metal friend. Good to hear from you. We've always thought of looking you up if we're over your way. If ever you're over our way, give us a call and we could catch up for a cuppa.
Keep smelling those roses,
Kind Regards, Stealth (and Nomad)
