Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Is there a trap in the publish process which is causing these issues with the initial location? As far as I can see, you put the location in when the cache is created. Do you need to put it in again when it is published? The initial location with these problem caches is there, and they are being fo...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
You have nailed it. Once the cache is published, changes to the cache co-ords are done via log entries, not via editing the cache page. That's how the cache gets updates as moveable caches move. From the logs. Next time (and I'll try and remember to highlight this) ... DO NOT publish your cache UNT...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
When I wrote the cache pages for my 4 bingo moveables, I put my home coords in as the cache coordinates. Then as I hid each of them, I edited the notes & put in the actual coords. They were all correct this morning when they all published. Three of them now have logs - 2 x found it & 1 x DNF. And a...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Hi C@W, I was just looking at the Bingo Numbers and noticed GA4740 is listed under the "74" numbers instead of "40" numbers as there is a gap after the GA and it has been read by the program as GA0474 instead of GA4740 I think ... see below for how the numbers are listed GA 4740 GA4374 GA4674 GA4774...

We've attached bison tubes via cable ties to all of ours.
A couple of ours have no-where to write the GCA number on because of the type of object they are so needed a log so u could have the Cache ID

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
These are definitely the last of my racers - I have to find too many hiding spots for them all... :-$ Somehow strike-a-light and myself managed to find 14 hiding spots :D As long as they all get moved about on the first day, we can then go chasing our own caches =D> These last three make ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I'm curious about the naming of Bingo race caches. I started naming mine as regular caches (adding Bingo as part of the name or an aside to assist spotting them as racers vs regular GCA caches), then I thought perhaps one should call them by their Bingo call so added that as the primary name. What ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
As long as it has an accurate size this time.... ( "small" my ....! ) :stabby  :-$ lol If you're talking about the "item" that was at the Cup Day Event, the original container attached to the "other part" was a small (200ml sistema) so technically it was right, they just parted ways (before w...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I was looking through a second hand store today, and saw a wheelchair. I was going to buy it, but one of the wheels was looking like it would break. There was also a wheeley walker thing, which I nearly brought! Not that it matters coz you can have more than one, but someone down here in Melbourne ...
