Re: Cache Sizes
There is a smaller-than-micro size container widely used called a nano (about the size of your thumbnail, usually magnetic). But it would be categorised as a micro on the GC.com cache page. Most considerate cache owners will mention if it is a nano in their description, but not all.

Re: MAPS Confusion
I find the OSM maps of Australian country areas to be quite patchy in detail. Some areas good, some bad depending if there is a keen OSM mapper in a region. For example many of the outer suburbs of Bundaberg and surrounding regions did not have street and road names but I'm slowly trying to rectify ...

Re: potential cache site occupied
Possums have few enough tree hollows to use as homes (hence their propensity to use roof spaces). I suggest leave the hollow for the possum and find somewhere else for the cache - that's one less possum trying to get into someone's roof.

Re: GeoCaching article
There is a Herald Sun article online here: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/geo-whiz-its-fun/story-fn6cc2jw-1225985803417 and it is printed in today's Adelaide Advertiser page 24 of "Hit" (pullout in middle). Reprinted also in Brisbane's Courier Mail earlier this week (not that many got around to r...

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
Bundy, there's one in Townsville at present, so that's the most northerly. The next most northern one is my Roamin Gnome at Bundaberg, at least until your gnome joins the project. Tropical/sub-tropical Gnomes appear to be relatively scarce. I put it down to the fact that summer is not really gnome s...

There is a great beach to see turtles laying eggs and turtle hatchlings at Mon Repos near Bundaberg, and some great caches nearby too! Turtle viewing is from October to March each year. October to January is mainly turtles laying eggs. At the end of the turtle season (February to end of March) it's ...
