Re: Trouble with new eTrex Vista HCx-please help a newbie
Hey, What maps are you using? tracks4australia is not that detailed for road navigation. How have you transferred the maps to the GPSr? You should be able to find caches with it, but not road navigate to them with what you have. To get routing you will need routable maps which you can get for free h...

Re: Carrying Guns While Geocaching
No wonder so many people die in the US due to firearms ... that's so weird carrying guns around. And yet my brother lives in Maine in the US -- where everyone carries guns around (and my brother even has a 'concealed weapon permit') -- and the murder rate there is one of the lowest in the US. It's ...

Re: Minimalist Cache Logs -- Opinions Wanted
Well I hope your caches stay, wingaap :D , I and most people love your work and show appreciate in their logs. For those that don't, some education is needed obviously, but some people are just thick! I usually send those people an email about their logs! My take on writing logs is that I enjoy tell...

Re: Personal travel bugs & geocoins
[quote="garnercx"]Hello beautiful people. Can someone help me out here? I've noticed that some cachers have geocoins, or travel bugs (or even travel bug nametags) that they dip into each cache they find. I understand that the reason for this might be to track distances or something. My question is, ...

Re: 'Finding' Archived Caches
Well as you can log archived caches as found, you could just replace the cache, place a note that the cache is back and send a message to a reviewer, then log a find.

But remember to NOT add coordinates for a puzzle cache.
You can manually add an offset.

Please move if...
