It would be nice to standardize on the size of Avatars too - I find they are very distracting when they are all over the place, they tend to dominate the page, and they also take longer to load/render. The profile suggests - ....Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater ...

Any thoughts on a Geocaching FAQ forum section? Only READABLE by all members, but additions, etc by the Admins. You could list software links, GPSr retailer links, HowTo's, etc. I know there are a lot on the main page, but it might be handy to look up while in the forum? There was a FAQ section in ...

Given the information provided in this new forum I think this thread is moot. You only have to look at the array of buttons at the bottom of each post to find the easiest method of contacting a member. I kinda agree with food, but it can be a regional thing. Some places are fine for the odd Tim-Tam or Freddo. From experience though I wouldn't put food in any cache I placed in Tassie, the Possums are relentless in their attempts to get to the contents of our caches, even if they don't have food in ...

G'day guys I just read the rules at geocaching.com and was suprised to see that among the caches listed as "off-limits" were caches placed while on holiday - vacation if your a yank. I can see where they are going with this, i.e not being able to maintain the cache, not knowing local regulations etc...
