You might try changing the properties of the installer or the installed program executable to run in compatibilty mode for XP or 2000.

Is it possible to make this "live" feed KML feed google earth different icons or text styles (ie colour) to indicate what kind of cache it's displaying (ie, archived) ??

Skype is great fun.
Especially big conference calls. Uses next to no bandwidth, which surprised me when I monitored what it goes through on an average call.
