How cools that - Yeah we were misquoted here and there but all in all I was pretty happy to be there. It was all Bens (Mix76's) idea for the story to generate more local interest. I was just tagging along more out of curiosity than anything. Initially Ben had written his own article but the paper wa...

My father-in-law has a shipping container on his block north of Newcastle but all I got was a bemused grim when I asked him is strangers could come and raid it. Little did I know that by that stage there were two quad bikes being stored in it :D . He has a fair chunck of land so if I could be a big ...

Very Clever!
How many caches could have been sort, planned, cam'd and packed in the time it took to write that. Will have to wait a couple of year before my kids can sing that.

I am very paranoid of this. Read the logs of "Noonans Discovery" to know more. I have had two Magellan 310's and both have consistantly developed errors from 310 meters to 25 meters. One to the West and the other to the East. I now try to take two eTrexs and average the two for about ten minutes per...

Yes I have been guilty of off coords as Steel Rat and A-6 can testify to. Want a good read have a look at "Noonans Discovery". I checked and rechecked it three times and they had had three goes at trying to find it. Each time I returned my GPS (Magellan 310) zeroed in exactly give or take the usual....

Moving from Newcastle the Dubbo I didn't stop to consider how this would effect my already slow number of finds. Benig a unistudent didn't allow for the financial freedom of weekends and afternoons driving from cache to cache. How things have changed in the last 12 months. Well, my year has been up ...
