Re: 5/5 Virtual Events in States of the Nation
I understand the motivation, and sometimes the chips fall one way, and not necessarily your way... I still don't think it excuses the fact that I solve a puzzle cache some 50km away, and discover, for no reason than "we want some points", that GZ is down in Tasmania... There are caches on GCA prior...

Re: Time to approve a GCA account
Less than 24 hours. I haven't seen anything for that name and there is nothing outstanding.
Ask to them to do it again tonight and I'll keep checking.

Re: Equity Concerns in the States Of the Nation Game
Can you give some examples of this? Two of the caches with listed & solved coords in ACT were CORs an Effect GA8897 & Don't forget to sign the log..... GA9279 in the Mulligans Flat area, they don't appear on the Yass dragonzone they only show on the ACT dragonzone list. In the game got points as if...

Re: Equity Concerns in the States Of the Nation Game
If you do raid ACT you have to watch out what you get. We solved a few puzzles that listed coords, solved coords are in ACT. The Dragonzone listing shows it as being in ACT but the CO has listed it as being in NSW. So you go to ACT and you end up with a NSW cache. So ACT cachers don't even have to ...

Re: Codeword
... GA 11051 is a history cache not a virtual, hence the requirement for the codeword Oh - I see. However when I open the cache using GSAK (offline) it comes up as a Virtual with the "ghost" character as well. But I see that when you view the cache on-line, it says "History" Got a bit of catching u...

Just FYI though as you haven't logged on for a while, GA 11051 is a history cache not a virtual, hence the requirement for the codewordpprass wrote:OK - it's all fixed. Found what I had to do to get the codeword, but it wasn't working. CO has since fixed and it the virtual is now logged.

It is right.....Just a cacher wrote:It is a word, it just isn't a noun. And yes, it does matter. It is a big deal. Get it right.
We could achieve all the goals you mentioned and still use the correct words for the situation - without even breaking a sweat.

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game
I have re-read the rules of the game. Is a 'scavenge' a find? A geocache? A scavenge is what you need to do in relation to a cache. The examples below are the first few that I completed in last years game. 1. Find and log a geocache that has not been found in 1 calendar year or more. This example r...

You played last year, it's almost the same....just a few weeks shorter and less types of things to hide and find.Just a cacher wrote:I think I should have some idea of what it's supposed to be about first.
See you Sunday at the event and we'll go through it all.

Re: 2017/2018 Summer Game
Sol, I have to say that your definition was a little less than useful, given the context of a game. I can only assume that you don't actually want me to learn how to play this stuff. You're in my state (and the same clan) so I want to understand. Come to our event on Sunday and we'll go through the...

Yeah yeah.....you've been saying that for years. I'll believe it when I see the logs come through.....
