Re: The Crystal Caverns are now live.

Hi caughtatwork, I've tried to discover a cavern but get nothing when I go to https://geocaching.com.au/my/dragonzone/research/quest/crystalcaverns/discover/ from the Quest menu on My dragonzone page. I notice that you get 0 Digs Completed 0 Digs Available (Found / Hidden on or after 16th January 20...

[quoSol de Lune wrote: ↑03 May 22 7:39 am How much of an issue is this? I've been around the site for a good few years and have found GCA caches all around the country and don't think this is a huge problem. I've seen a few issues of photo's not being added to a log for trig, but that's about it. Pr...

Re: Looking for people to help create an Australia wide series

I'd be happy to help out with caches in Tasmania. I put out a number of the ICEM series and still look out for them while travelling. Not sure about the puzzle info side as maintenance can be a problem if clues get removed. This could be overcome by the same info being included in a number of caches...

Re: (dragonZone) Moveables being scored for each find by the same geocacher

We enjoy finding moveable geocaches as we travel around. It is particularly satisfying to unearth and move on a moveable that has been sitting in one place for well over 12 months. Our choice has always been to log a find on a particular moveable only once. If we come across a moveable we have previ...

Re: How many is too many?

COVID caching introduced a lot of people to the Jigidi website where jigsaws can be created and completed. Those who enjoy online jigsaws can search the site for the types of puzzles they enjoy. There is nolonger a need for this type of armchair cache on GCA other than a means of finding the coordin...

Re: How many is too many?

Like previous comments we feel that the site should go back to the original definition of a Locationless cache with cachers required to go out and find something now lockdowns have ceased. We would be happy with another category for caches that include a jigsaw. Our grand daughters, aged 6 and 7, en...

Re: Geocaching Australia Find Rewards

While we enjoy receiving our free pathtags when we reach milestones and agree it is a great way to reward loyal GCA followers we feel the first priority should always be to keep the site going. So if we can only afford to keep the site running then the tags would sadly have to go.

Re: Battleships

We would like to added our thanks and congratulations to the organisers of the DZ Battleships game. The game length gave plenty of time for those who had limited caching time. We think the removal of moveables from the caches that counted as finds worked well. Perhaps they should also be removed fro...

Re: Blitz

Like a few other teams we only find moveable caches once. This is our choice and will put us at a disadvantage in some situations but we expect that. No game is played on a level playing field no matter how hard we try. For Blitz, Tasmanian cachers who find moveables multiple times are extremely luc...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here

Like Whitewebbs my Gold Arty Farty Trophy shows the correct number, 59 to go (have found 41) but the Blaze Trophy listing shows 1000 finds to go - should be 959 . Not a great problem but interesting that the problem seems slightly different for each cacher.
