Changes made from version 2.80 to 2.85:

* Added ability to force the Oregon into mass storage mode by holding the power button for 30 seconds while plugged into a USB cable

Bushwalking code from Australian Alps National Parks "Keep the wilderness wild. Cutting new tracks is illegal and marking tracks with cairns, tape or other materials is unsightly and can confuse other walkers." I don't think bright coloured tapes are the go - they would not be appreciated by bushwal...

I don't swap myself but I love finding caches with swaps in them. To me, it fulfils the "treasure" aspect. I personally am not worried whether the items are useful or not - some like them useful - me I like them to be new, colourful, interesting, something to look at, perhaps themed, or just an unus...

If I only wanted to spend 200, I would just buy a yellow etrex from Dick Smith. However if I wanted to spend $500, I would buy an Oregon, and save up for OzTopo maps later.

Well mtrax - maybe you should start with yourself - and lead the way by example.

From now on, I will expect you to be proudly posting FDF logs on all new ACT caches - especially any that come out in say the next week or two.
