Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................
You fly all the way from Melbourne to New Orleans without any sleep at all. When you arrive, having been awake for 36 plus hours, you leave your HTC Hero phone on the Aiport Shuttle and your first thought is not "Oh no, how will I contact my family", not "Oh god, I hope no-one uses that to hack my e...

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
Question about "ethics" for this race. Is it OK to have a "hide" where the finder has to ask a receptionist for the "cache" ? In other words, would it be within the spirit for me to have the gnome at work and have the receptionist worded up to hand him over ?

Re: Why do we put caches out there
I haven't got that many out there, but most of the ones I do have are a way of sharing a place with others who would normally whizz straight past on their way to somewhere else. Re: Cemetery Caching ?
Apart from the fact that they're currently grandfathered, virtual caches seem to be a reasonable compromise in that you can take people to the place you want them to see without potientially disrespectful hides, or people scrambling around on graves searching. I did a virtual in a cemetry in New Or...
