I attempting to work out a puzzle cache - GZ are fake co-ords and I need to solve the puzzle to get the actual co-ords.
With that in mind, my question is how far from the posted GZ can a puzzle cache be located? Does it have to be within 10 km of the posted GZ, or can it be any distance?

Re: Griffin Clan
The caches in my area are all mine - so just need people to find them. I am planning to hide some more - just need time off work to hide them during daylight hours.

Re: dragonZone
That explains the amount of moveables that were suddenly archived in my area, thus preventing me from finding them and getting the points.

Re: dragonZone
Love the new forum area... quick question. Does the forum have a way of limiting access to topics by Clan affiliation? Im sure we dont need unhackable security or anything silly like that. If people REALLY want to Im sure they can read it, but threads locked to each clan could be cool for planning ...

Griffin Clan
Where are the various members of Griffin from? Wondering so that we can plan to take over the world easier... well, at least Australia.

Re: dragonZone
By the way, thanks for helping Griffin fellow clan member. We were sadly behind. I need to hide some in my area to help Griffin out as there isn't too much to find. The only thing is I don't want to hide crap caches to get the points. But I do know where some are if other Griffin's want to claim so...

Re: dragonZone
Do we get points for moving movable caches? Or only for finding them in the first place?

Re: dragonZone
Is there anyway to filter out non GCA caches on the Geocaching Australia Google map ? If you click on Caches|View GCA it will list just GCA caches. Then click the View As: GoogleMaps link and you'll have just GCA caches on the map. Sweet - many thanks. and  There are only bingo caches anywhere...

Re: dragonZone
Not as such. I rarely use the default maps. As you say, they show everything and I'm not an everything cacher. I use a My Query to define what I want, then Google Map it. I'm predominately a moveable and traditional cacher nowadays. So I set up a My Query with only moveable and traditional caches s...
