Also if Virtuals are vanishing, What is going to happen to all those TBs that are designed to visit these sites? I love their ingenuity! Virtual TB's (ie ones that don't exist, but you can grab the number and transport it whereever you like) have been banned. The site owners took it as an abuse of ...

Can't say when, but noticed it a few days ago. I also notice the old image / icon is now used for "personal" geocoin. I have also seen icons for german geo coins, so, if this coin ever gets made, maybe it will have it's own symbol of an aussie coin. If you pay the bucks to get it registered and tra...

All locationless caches got archived as of the 1st of this year. The idea is that things are to be shifted over to Waymarking . Im sure that others will give a better explanation behind it all, but for a start, take a look at the waymarking web site I think your explanation pretty much covers it. G...

You can also place a Promote Geocaching Australia card in any of your caches where there is a close GCA cache.

Nothing like pimping your GCA caches :-)

Does this kind of end up like GC where (nowadays) in order to see the co-ords you need to be signed up and logged in, only on GCA you need to be signed up and logged in to use the "secret envelope"? I think this is taking the ideological (no relation) commitment to cache-site anarchy a little too f...

The very last "secret envelope" idea kind of means you HAVE to sign up to view the hint, yes? Otherwise if you just open the envelope without being signed in, an "UKNOWN CACHER" peeked at your secret hint, yes? Does this kind of end up like GC where (nowadays) in order to see the co-ords you need to...

The annoying part about SMS or needing other online connectivity is that at a number of cache locations ... there isn't any. It also costs money and this is supposed to be free. While I appreciate the interest in knowing who used a clue, I wouldn't like to see a charge to access it :-( What about RO...

Maybe you're just an improved fool :D

I tend to agree. An example set would be beneficial. Just in plan text next to the field that you can copy / paste and then edit.

I heartily agree.
If i! want, I have php ROT13 code function that I can supply.
This should then only mean a DB change for the column and a few screens for entering the hint and displaying / decrypting the hint.

Your font Aero does not exist on my computer, so I get a default font which is Times New Roman. I presume that Aero is cooler, but unless the person viewing the site has this font installed they won't get to see it. You need to put a background in the table or cell of any text. Currently your top ba...

It's hard to find stuff, yes. I use the Search Box extensively. I think most wiki's have the same sort of problem. As it allows the users to create links from anywhere and pages with (almost) and name, it can become confusing over time. Before I create a new page I do a search and see if it exists. ...
