Re: Report Site Issues Here
Could GA11552 be checked. The cache is listed as being in the East Gippsland dZ, however the co-ords, and map, show it as being in the dZ of Monash.

Re: What's new on Geocaching Australia
More good oil from your primary developers…. You can now create a list of archived caches by a latitude and longitude search. Head to this link, https://geocaching.com.au/find/geocache, and look for: Search for a Geocache Archived Caches Enter the co-ordinates you wish to search, Select GCA or ALL ...

Re: Elevation for Dinosaur Racers
Thanks for asking the question about racers being on or not on the ladder geono. I didn't know that so it was good to get the answer. I see we are now up to 200 racers.
Just shows that if we don't ask, we don't find out....

Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
Hoping to find a few in Gold Coast or Northern NSW. I think there's a few of us jurassic geocachers hiding dinosaurs in the area. There is a stegosaurus eagerly waiting for the 1st of September at the back of Palm Beach. Is that far enough south? I hadn't planned on hiding anything further south be...

Re: Locationless Caches
My problem with them is that cachers don't follow the requirements of the locationless.... e.g. The latest one (at time of writing) GA12559 - Circular Saw blade Art, states what is required, however the only claim to date does not meet the requirement. So why bother going to the trouble of hunting d...

Re: Improving Moveable Caches
Yep...fair enough. I guess a CO of moveables can place the moved log themselves...thereby letting others know its available....which is what I'll do in future. As long as you can tell for sure it is still at the location....go for it. If it's hard to tell from the logs, as the CO feel free to conta...

Re: Improving Moveable Caches
We're educating people on this. If we start and continue to spread the word, who knows, things may change and the problem will fix itself over time.
We will never ever get a perfect result for this. Read the whole thread and you'll understand the issues.

Re: Improving Moveable Caches
I've noticed GCA putting queries beside moveable caches which have either been left in place by the previous finder or NOT moved on. The simplest way for everyone to know where a moveable is....is to make it MANDATORY to put in a moved log...WHETHER the cache has been moved or not....THEN when we s...
