The simple fact that geocaching.com feels the need to have a rule that restricts you from having a cache within 160m of another says it all for me... Why do you think they put a rule like this in place? You think they did it just to spite people or be difficult. I think you'll find that the rules t...

The questions posed are interesting. I have only been caching since January 1 2005 so I can only speak on the history since we joined. I must admit in the first instance I read a lot in the GC.com forums and felt fairly lonely, as I couldnÂ’t find a big Australian contingent. I joined the Austra...

M I X = 4D 49 58 ==> 77 + 73 + 88 ==> 238 238 + 1066 (Battle of Hastings) = 1304 1304 + 144 (no. of caches found by Mix) = 1448 1448 - 73 (no. of caches hidden by Mix) = 1375 1375 - 42 (the answer to life, the universe and everything) = 1333 Divide by 2 (and round down) and lo and behold... Mix == 666

The feed of data from geocaching.com to geocaching.com.au is one-way only... Logs/notes entered on geocaching.com.au will never appear on geocaching.com... I guess all that you can do as caches owner is to advise the person that the normal thing to do would be to log the caches on the site where the...

Sadly, that is very true...

Let's remain rational about this...

I can almost believe this... I installed Firefox on my PC after recent discussions here and after a few days decided I didn't like it (too damned slow)... I uninstalled it and that has seriously farked up my PC... I cannot open certain file types and browsing with IE has become very troublesome... T...

You don't need to come all the way to Australia to achieve that... You could just emigrate to Wales :lol:

Anyone know where you can get the Green Coles/Woolies style polyester eco bags without the shop names plastered over them? I'm really surprised to see you condoning those revolting green Coles bags Eco-Team... I consider them to be a far worse blight on our landscape than any amount of lightweight ...

If you're particularly keen on the Meridian, then I would probably recommend the Gold on the basis of value for money... I have the yellow which has served me well, but it has a very limited base map which hurts when you zoom out too far... For detailed maps from DAST it has the same abilities as th...
