Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Yes Zhaoy and I are doing the same... we WILL find each others... but not as the first few moves. I think the 2 move rule should probably be enforced again... Yep, s-a-l and myself have written a very similar rule for ourselves. As long as someone else finds and rehides one of our caches first, we ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
A trap for us newbies, instructions seemed a bit vague, so have included log books and FTF certs in my moveables! I have attached or inserted bison tubes or similar to all 14 of strike-a-light's and mine to carry a log which also has the "cache note" info on it which I think can be useful in case t...

Somehow strike-a-light and myself managed to find 14 hiding spots As long as they all get moved about on the first day, we can then go chasing our own cachesquiet1_au wrote:These are definitely the last of my racers - I have to find too many hiding spots for them all...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I have a tranport plan for around New Year that would allow a swap of Sydney and Perth caches as long as they weren't too large or heavy. And always assuming I needed those particular numbers for my cardsspatialriq wrote:I hope you don't forget to send some West also, not just to the island to the South

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
How is there a cache #5678?? I thought the numbers ran consecutively? Or is this a typo? And yes, I realise (being very clever and having an exceptional memory  :!: )that there are cache numbers in the xx40's lurking in Tassie, but by now we have 47xx, 48xx and 49xx series. Surely not ALL the...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
There are a huge number missing from the 40's for some reason. 4740, 4840 and 4940 are all MIA. So are the 41, 42, 43, 49, 50 and 51 numbers for all 3 ranges. Weird. I hope a Bingo player has them reserved but just not yet entered into the game.

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
I'm curious about the naming of Bingo race caches. I started naming mine as regular caches (adding Bingo as part of the name or an aside to assist spotting them as racers vs regular GCA caches), then I thought perhaps one should call them by their Bingo call so added that as the primary name. What ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
We seem to be filling the numbers gaps quite well although there are some big holes in a few ranges. 123 caches entered so far by only 32 players. With 63 players in the game, there must be a lot of caches still not entered onto the game page yet! I put mine into the game as soon as I had started of...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
Im on the 'Bingo' 'Create a cache' page and its asking for a cache ID, where do i get that from? You need to create the cache in GCA. You only need it to be a "Draft" one initially. Make sure you put the "hidden date" as 1/Dec/12 and make it a Moveable type. Once you save it, you will get the GAxxx...
