To Me, they are part of the history of my caches so to me, they are important. I have all my old log books in a special drawer. They are a small part of the history of caching in NSW.

Others of course may feel differently.

Glad u got settled into that website, would love to see some pics of the bike trailer uploaded to the album before you go, easier to understand what you wrote about the trailer.

One of the many things that came out of the first meeting with NSW National Parks, was the fact they hated the idea of swaps/trinkets inside caches. So, if and when we are allowed to cache back in NP's sometime in the future, it's doubtful they will allow anything but a logbook/stashnote type setup....

PLUS!! You hardly have to take your eyes off the road when it is up there, imagine it down near the console, long ways to take your eyes off the road to down there!!

I really have mellowed over the last year or so, but, one thing that really cheeses me off still, is copy and paste logs. Surely, you found something at the cache site worth of an individual log and not need to do a copy and paste with the exact same thing for every log?? Cache owners go to the trou...

I really doubt that all the best places are taken, we have not reached anywhere near the cache saturation point that some places in the US have so they resort to putting caches on every 2nd light pole. Placing a cache comes down to common sense. Having been exposed to a larger number of caches certainly will help in (possibly) getting a better idea of what makes a good container, a good location, a good hide. I am sure 99.5% of people would realise that a fast food rice container is only going to ...

I believe to even get a mega event listed, you have to show that you will get 500 people attend the same event. The reviewers probably have more info on the procedure for getting a mega Event accepted and listed.
