a peice a trivia. I note on the list you have ch 22 and 23 as voice simplex. I think you might find that they are reserved for data only simplex. I only know this as I am in the process of mating a GPSr to a radio for the purpose of remote locating to Oziexplorer. I will try to find the link that l...

It used to be so easy but now.....

The only way (it seems) you can do it is to link to gif av etc files in the HTML. You will have to find somewhere to host the files first though.

:) :) :) :D :D Red Dwarf.....You had me in stiches for hours Mate. Great reading and a even greater laugh. Something I haven't had for quite some time. As I said in a previous letter to El-diablo. We Aussies are specialists at laughing at ourselves. BTW I am serious about one in Pidgin....... Wunnaa...

Hi Di-ablo No one's unhappy with you mate. Sorry if we gave the wrong impression. We're all just having a laugh at ourselves. Something that us Aussies are very good at (usually). Don't take offence to anything said here. As I said, it's all just tongue in cheek. We will get back to you with some in...

Warning "Soapbox Under Feet" Mode When I first started in this sport, things were so simple. Log onto G.C.com, get the co-ords and clues and go find the cache. It really was that easy. Great..... Hang on I hear you say.....It's still like that now!. Your right. So why try to change it? Then there's ...

Consumers simply drop their devices on a Splashpad and charge up! No wires, no plugs, no hassle - any number, anywhere.
I can vouch for this product.......I have even used it to charge my cordless drill. Took a long time to do it though.

Clever product. indeed :)

Over the years, half the fun for us has been trying to guess who will be first to find our caches. Seeing the watchlist grow shows us us that, at the very least, there is interest in the cache. I personaly would rather be kept guessing but perhaps an option, rather similar to the "Whois" command on ...

I placed the cache in the Belangalo Forest in reply to a request for some spooky caches. Perhaps it was being a little irreverent but hey it's all in good fun. Don't kid yourself that I wasn't a bit spooked while placing it though. The whole area gave me the creeps. I read the statements by the "bod...

On benchmarks/trigs When I set up the "That's the Trig" vitual. Jeremy and Geocaching.com actually wrote back to me and complimented the idea but made us restrict the cache to Australia Only. At that stage they had not thought of setting up their benchmark section but soon after it arrived on the si...

Settle down guys. I am sure Snifter did not intend any personal insult to anyone. I thinks she's just trying to say that some people are very one eyed when it comes to Geocaching.com. Under the circumstances who wouldn't be because it's difficult to find a more professional and efficiently run site,...
