Re: Wagga Wagga under floods.
Amazing photos - thanks Greg. We stayed at Wagga Beach, so we assume our cabin was one of those moved. It was overlooking the river then. The photo looking through the arch really brings home the level of the flood.

Re: Australia's Largest Cache
Don't think we can top Philipp's, but the largest we've found in Australia would be The Asteroids: Ceres by TeamAstro. The inner container is a plastic garbage bin, and the outer one (it's a surprise) is even bigger.

They do indeed, and they worried us at first. Then we noticed that most of the teams near the top are very active. It would be interesting to see those stats when expressed as a proportion of each team's total finds.FarmerFrentzen wrote: CAW's stats make interesting reading...

Try http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=13728 if you want to go back to 7.6.3 while you get it sorted.riblit wrote:I would say 7.6.3.13 as that's the version on my laptop, which I'm loath to update now.maccamob wrote: What version were you updating from?

Re: GSAK 7.7.0.109 update problem
GSAK should have backed up your default database before the upgrade (7.7Back.zip). Open the zip file and copy the backed up dbs over the faulty ones and try again. I seem to recall something like that happening to me when I updated to 7.7 when it was in beta, but it worked ok second time round.

Re: Garmin - A tale of woes!
The replacement has only lasted about 4 months before it too suffered a broken USB socket (and after the first failure I was being particularly careful with the car power adaptor). I'm about to send it off to Sydney again. No trouble getting through on the phone this time either (had to wait no mor...

Re: Garmin - A tale of woes!
Screen protector? That sounds like a good idea but where did you get it? These Fellowes sheets (http://www.officewarehouse.com.au/items.asp?id=56915) are pretty good too. First tried them out in the US a couple of years back. Come in a pack of 12 over there, but not sure yet how many are in the pac...

Re: Garmin - A tale of woes!
Just moved up to an O450 after about 19 months with two different C300s. The first failed with a broken USB socket after just over a year. Couldn't upload or download anything. We had a Garmin car power adaptor, so the socket had a plug/unplug cycle for each cache we found, plus the up and download ...
