Re: Mid-Year Mystery Madness Month

Thanks for the game. I really enjoyed that. =D> I've been getting a bit blah when it comes to solving puzzles the last couple of years and it was great to find myself getting right back into it and loving it again. There were some really clever ideas in there. Some evil ones too. I was surprised the...

Re: Earth Science Cache

To choose between just those two, I'd have to say 2630, my old Cooma postcode, is my choice.

I also have a goal of publishing 100 Trigs (half way there) but that's another story.
Congratulations on publishing 100 trigs up in the sunshine state and overseas. As some of these are in my watch zone I've seen some appear and read the logs for a few and they are great stories.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

This cache I found yesterday
https://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga27241
didn't show up in my allocate dZ points page. Judging by the points I'd say it didn't show up in the last finders list either.

Re: Logless cache idea

Add to that the fact that environmentalists will catch on soon enough that GC are encouraging placing plastic containers or plastic contents that are often damaged beyond CO control by things such as erosion, weathering, bushfire, flood, animal munching and muggles... If we don't change our ways soo...

Re: Logless cache idea

For all physical caches, there must be a logbook for geocachers to record their visit. The logbook must be • Physical • Replaceable • Easy to sign • Enclosed within a container Examples: Notebook, paper scroll. Would be nice for GC to elaborate further if they are going to deny cache publication wh...

Re: Logless cache idea

To be fair it wasn't just the log book alone they knocked me back on but a non-waterproof container. They made it very clear that I would have to rectify both issues to get it published. And that's why it's a GCA cache now. Haha.

Re: GCA Social Media - Calling for content creators - Geocaching Australia

I've just started studying again this week and can't see myself having enough time to play editor with this stuff at this point in time. I just thought I should make it clear that I am happy to contribute footage, but will not be playing around with scripts or editing for now. Please let me know if ...

Re: Logless cache idea

for similar with GC caches I hope you don't mean using codes instead of a log book in GC caches. If the NSW reviewer found out you'd be in trouble. Haha. I mentioned using bamboo (sliced into thin sheets and sanded) instead of paper for a log book and they refused to let me publish it based on bamb...

Re: Logless cache idea

I bought one of those kits from Bunnings with the intention of using it for my Ten Tin Bars multi (in Tintenbar) but ended up just using numbers on telegraph poles instead. It's ready to get some use should this code idea happen which, judging by the glitch in my multi the other week, may to be in t...

Re: Mid-Year Mystery Madness Month

I'm not sure anyone is going to see this here because not many people are replying to posts in the forums these days, but,
I've added a new log to each of my mmmm caches with additional hints to help people solve them during game period.

Re: Earth Science Cache

I like the idea of it being like the earth axis tilt. I also like the bars being shifted left and right - it reminds me of shifted tectonic plates. Therefore g1783 has my vote.
