LOL.
You forgot those that rarely post but read everything in the forum and wonder how it could be possible to waste so much time on a worthless topic.

Webguy, You can "copy to clipboard" from within the UBD program. Then open mspaint and paste from clipboard, save the file in bmp format, then import into OZI via the "load and calibrate map" function in Ozi. The map calibration can be done using the lat and long reference from the UBD application, ...

I am inclined to think that maybe there are cachers that are just not interested in how many caches they have. I remember reading an arti...

I helped a friend do his third cache today (4 hrs in 37C heat). But he hasn't registered with gc.com yet. So there are three caches that have logbook entries but no gc.com log. It does happen.

Whats Geo.com going to think of it all ? I wonder if they will suddenly decide to block Aust as we have gone our "own" way ? Just a thought.. I thought of this as well. What will Groundspeak think? Are you looking to implement some sort of subscription system like gc.com uses now. This is a major m...

I recently purchased a dc-dc switchmode laptop power supply from Jaycar (cat # MP3466) and it has a lighter plug on one end and a variety of adapters on the other. This model is $120 as it has the Dell plug, but there is a cheaper version the MP3462 it is $89.50. This solution works a treat for the ...

Hi Andrew, I have a Magellan so I don't know if this would apply to a Garmin. I use a USB to RS232 adapter, Jaycar cat # XC4835. It works fine between my Mag the desktop and the Dell notebook I use for caching. The adapter comes up as a com port and I just set the port in which ever application I am...
