I was always told, "if I played with Magellan, I would go blind". So i bought a Garmin.

Having used both Magellan and Garmin i found the Garmin to be more user friendly.

No springs in the 60 CSx either :o This must be the punishment that Garmin metes out to those who don't buy the high end models. Nope. Pennance for not getting a Magellan. :P Our Magellan SporTrak Map has the same "problem". One battery goes the "right" way (spring on the negative), one goes the "w...

I think its an awesome idea too. As long as we all agreed (majority) what was written on the shirts/jackets it would be fantastic. Would be good to organise provided what ever was produced was of reasonable to good quality. I'm sick of wearing something one or twice and relegating it to a draw becau...

Acceptable or Not??

A new cache has gone up in my area and the description clearly states "NIGHT TIME CACHE ONLY". I've noticed some cachers have found it throughout the day. Is this acceptable or just not cricket??

I bought my GPSmap 60CSx off ebay from an American supplier and have had nothing but good times. As others have stated, the base map is next to useless. I bought T4A PRO off ebay and its doing me fine. From what i have read i will be getting shonkymaps. Hope this helps and dont be put off.
