Re: Counting finds

Go to the My Tab on the Geocaching Australia website (once logged in) Youwill then see a list which includes the words Cacher Page. Click on that. From the resulting page there is a lower row of tabs, one of which is Statistics. Hover on that and the top word is Finds. Click on that and there you ha...

Re: Stats from other Geocaching sites.

I just found my first Opencaching (Garmin) cache and then found out that it won't import.

Then being a good forum bloke I searched and came upon this thread.

Any movement in broadening what sites can be imported?

Re: DNFs Logged vs. Actual DNFs

I know a number of cachers (2 in fact  ) that don't log DNFs if they believe the cache is still in situ AND they will be coming back to search again. Their justification is that they don't want to give the CO anything to worry about.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

There appears to be a fair lag between logging gnomes and the log showing up. I logged two gnomes which showed up straight away in my log list and stats. However the logs didn't actually show on the Gnome page for a period of time. Not sure if this is a problem or not, or if you already knew or not....

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

I created a route but can't seem to get any response when trying to download the GPX file, GPS, caches etc. Just sits stating that it is waiting for geocaching.com.au. Interestingly it will show the GMAP. Edited to add - Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /var/www/site/gc...

Hey Matt and/or Shell, do you have any particular cache in mind for the half millennium?

Re: How many chances??

I sent an email 4 days ago for a cacher that said they didn't sign the log. I asked them to describe it to me and I'd allow the log to stand - this was on the day they logged it. The team has been logging for a few years and have over 400 finds. No response after 4 days, so I've deleted it and sent ...

Re: What's new on Geocaching Australia

Did my first upload of field notes this morning - really cool, and useful as no more revisits to the same GCA cache because you forgot to log.

Now just gotta remember to rename the original fieldnotes txt on the Oregon so I don't have to tick the delete box on tens of logs.

Top effort again c@w.
