Re: 2020 Game of Games
Hi DragonZone Guardian Thank you for the new game - really like the concept of having to hide caches as part of the game. As I have said before if nobody hides caches we don't have a game! I believe I have hidden my caches for this game, but how do you confirm that your entry has gone in and no mist...

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions
Ok. In December. The presidents cup golf is being held in Australia (Melbourne)
How about a game based around terms from golf? And other golfing ideas such as par 3 - get three trads in a day as an example.

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions
Thank you Caught at Work for the replies and all the work you put into the site. I am certainly happy with everything as it is going. My only concern is you paying additional tax which is not quite fair. I am sure I speak for the majority of Tasmanian Cachers in saying we are all happy to help where...

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions
Thank you for the information. My question was more me trying to get my head around things than a complaint. Not looking at upsetting anyone So without games and hardware failures, we need basically $1600 a year to run the site. So we need a way to raise this money each and every year at an absolute...

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions
Hi caught at work. Thank you for the long post, and unfortunately my profession takes over now ... I’m an accountant (or bean counter to my boss). Is there a list of expenses for the gca site for the year? Obviously there is gc account fees, domain name fees, server fees and reward costs, but no dou...

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions
Hi CaughtatWork
I didn't understand until the Mega at Queanbeyan there was a funding issue. Happy to help with anything required to get the funding required. I know there was an idea raised at the Mega that could get some funding if it is still an issue?
Let me know if I can help

Re: Problem using the GCA Map to identify GC caches
I have noticed this to. I use the gca maps a lot as they are a one stop shop for all caches in an area. Also very useful for when hiding cache series’s.
I don’t know if it is a major issue, maybe label it a “feature” and all is good

Re: 2019 mid year game suggestions
:griffin I was thinking that perhaps an 'Unloved Cache' game might be fun. Points would be scored for say each week a cache has been unloved. Of course the unloved length of time would have to be up to the start of the game so that all players can find such caches not just the first one to find it....

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Given one possible outcome of yesterday's issue was that we might have had to permanently take the site down then I think losing a few DZ points is the least important issue of the day. Sorry if this offends, but if we'd lost the main board on the server or whatnot then we would have been seriously...
