Thanks for the reply. I was referring to the waypoint icons and the dialog box, "Change Waypoint Icons Dialog Box" which seems to suggest that I could get the icons to display in the program and transfer them to the GPSr. I think you have answered the part in respect to the download. I am not curre...

Hi <p> Thanks for the programing. I am still playing with it but like it so far so will register it I think. Anyway, I notice in the help files it refers to where you can change icons, but I can't find this on the menus and I also can't get the actual icons to show in the program. Am I missing some...

Thanks Roger. GSAK automation (or Macros) is still very basic. However, I must admit, more and more users seem to be warming to the use of these macros. The next version (4.2.0 - out in the next 1-2 weeks) expands on this usage and lets you run macros from within GSAK as well as the command line. Th...

Tip: GSAK and Excel

I like to think GSAK just about does it all for you. However, there are still the power users that would like to export the GSAK database into a format they can “do their own thingÂâ€

embi wrote:Is there a way of making all caches unfound! I'd like to be able to do this in one hit.
Currently no. (I will add bulk updating of fields later down the track)

However there is a work around. Please see item 11 of the GSAK FAQ here http://www.gsak.net/help/hs1070.htm

Is there a way of informing the user when an active cache becomes unavailable or 'possibly archived'?
Currently no. I will look at adding this to my "to do" list.

When generating documents in Isilo or such, Could there be a sub index for quick selection under Home - Distance ?, like the placed by index.... there is the little sub index that allows you to move down to the index to the letter that you are after.... so tha...

I don't know if this has been asked for yet... any chance of a distance submenu? broken down into say 100 klms intervals or something more suitable? Similar to the submenus for "placed by, or, name of" selectors, for use under the Distance from Home Menu. And thanks for the hard work Clyde, I just ...

The installer does not place any files on your computer until after you click on the last dialog. If at any time before this you abort the install, there are no files to remove.

In my opinion Maccamob has this best take on this.

The crux of the problem is that Groundspeak just won't send you archived caches in any Pocket Query - so GSAK has no way of knowing the cache is archived.

This has been asked of Jeremy, but as yet it just hasn't happened.

Unfortunately not. There was a thread on the gc.com forum asking Jeremy to add this but as yet it is not available.
