Re: Binary puzzle/s
Aw gee, well that'd be kind of giving it away a bit really, which I told the cache owner I wouldn't. A clue, I live in Hobart.

Re: Binary puzzle/s
The toolbox is a handy little section that I hadn't discovered before! It didn't work for the line of code that I had. Would adding a zero before each 7bits work?

Binary puzzle/s
Out of my 5 closest to home unfound caches, three involve binary decoding...but a bit more complicated! In one puzzle I need to decode a message that is in 7 bit binary form, and after conferring with the cache owner, he said that he wrote a small program to do this. I think that is beyond the level...

Re: Who can help us with our honeymoon planning?
I just bought that exact one you referred to, from Dick Smiths store (local store for all sorts of electrical/computer/camera type equipment, so that I could have easy internet access on my trip interstate. And like mentioned, it was over the counter...but I needed to ring up to activate it which re...

That's an impressive stat! I have 70 unfound in a 15km radius from home, half of which are puzzles! Time to train my brain?

Yes, I thought the same thing...all these years and I didn't know that there was a spider season? What I did think is that you are more likely to get huntsmen inside when there's a big storm brewing. (??).

Re: Favourite frogs
That reply amused me, because earlier today I was thinking about which frog I'd nominate and was intending to come back to this thread to nominate "frogeater" http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3850 ! I thought it was the most fantastic frog! Even with two teeth missing. (And I noticed he wasn't found...

Re: "Boy Look"
I reckon you're probably just more honest (in logging a DNF when you had a look) than a lot of people. But I agree that that thing of fixating on a certain area where that's where you think it should be can occur. sometimes when you assume it's on say, a particular side of a track, then it may only ...

Re: water bottle holder belt
I noticed on that link I posted that it said no longer available. But when I did a google search there was one the same available on Amazon to buy. So that's an option. I would imagine that something similar or a newer version would be available in the sports (or outdoor) stores. Oh and I noticed th...

Re: water bottle holder belt
I bought a Nike bottle and belt similar to this http://reviews.nike.com/9191/FC0082/nike-belted-hydration-pack-reviews/reviews.htm a couple of years ago. I found it great, especially if I put a hydration drink in it rather than water - as the bottle isn't so big. But it didn't jump around or jiggle ...
