Re: Ideas for Activities at a Winter Event

Perhaps something like the fun event we attended a few weeks ago - http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0d4d1594-27a0-487a-a0a4-a0b53c4bf10e Full details are on the page. The game part took us a couple of hours, with stops for other caches on the way. I'd add a +1 for this idea. I...

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race

I like the idea, the team idea is great, being in a team with some of the country cachers will be great, finding real caches is fun, having to hide a cache is fun. The pathtag is always most welcome and I'd be happy enough to buy one. The only slight concern that popped in my head is that people who...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

That doesn't seem very nice . One reason why the game has held less appeal for me this year. Just to set the record straight on this one: An ACT cacher drove to Sydney and back in a day for some personal business. Since ACT cachers had gone to a heap of trouble to create a heap of missing numbers f...

Re: Your geocaching goals 2013

1. Find some caches in interesting spots. That's it really :D 1a. I'd rather like to visit a lot more Blue Mountains caches as there are a lot there that involve a nice walk and/or great views. 1b. And I'm also keen to do the NSW State Challenge that involves the 10 regions of NSW as I'm planning to...

I like the teams ideas where you are paired up with someone in another state or a city/regional team. And I quite like the treasure hunt ideas too.

Re: ACT Bingo caches

Wow! There seems to be almost 30 bingo caches in tigersden's possession and nothing whatsoever left in ACT  Certainly not worth a trip down there for a while! Thank goodness BB brought a few home with him for you to play with =D> I've heard of a raid but that does seem rather complete. Yep, y...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

[quote="caughtatwork"For those folks in rural and regional areas who can't join in because of the lack of caches in their area, a chance to sit on the sidelines and watch people enjoy a game in the spirit it was intended. Just like watching the Olypmics. You can't participate, but watching can be a ...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

Tasmania will welcome visiting Bingo cachers. I will happily supply a list of the specific numbers that are available here. We have a full set and multiples of quite a few tricky numbers. Only conditions are that foreigners pay for drinks and no exporting numbers! Don't worry, I already have a very...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

The small price of a flight to Hobart and/or Melbourne, car hire for a few days and accomodation is by no means too much to pay for the honour of winning one of these PTs =D> \:D/ :D

Re: Alerts

I have the same thought on the moveables. If you get alerts for a new cache, then moveables are considered "new" when they move, even though you have previously found them. Because after all, they are in a new spot where you haven't been before (except in the current game where they seem to turn up ...

Does anyone know anything about GA4636? Is it supposed to be in the game or still in draft form in reality?
