Hi Pesky, if you download the whereigo builder it has an emulator on it. Download a cartridge and play it on that. You can't log it but it gives you an idea of how this can go. I just tried a couple and this looks like it has a lot of potential. Kat

Thanks map monkey. As soon as I get back up in Qld I was going to head in to JAS to have a look at a unit. I know it's a bit rude as I don't intend to buy it off them but I wanted to have a look and talk to someone about the maps it takes. I'm upgrading from an explorist 100 so anything is better at...

I agree with nearly everything that GIN51E has said except for the acknowledgement of a donation. That could start a 'Well I gave a donation and you didn't so I have more say than you' or something similar. I know some people will say no we aren't like that but it happens and consider how some remar...

I like the donation idea. Instead of of worring about a surplus, remember the old fundraising signs in front of schools and hospitals that use to say when the required amount was reached. That way people who want to donate can and when the the limit is reached that's the end of it.

In my phone I put down ICE-Dad so the paramedic's or police know who they are talking to. I think it's a great idea but imagine if you got a phone call saying I'm contacting you about an accident, a person has been hurt and you are their ICE contact. I'd prefer them to know they are talking to my Mu...

I've been down in wollongong for work over christmas and I've had to wait for my mail to catch up. My Kris Kringle package arrived today although Greg my postie has been laughing about how long it's been in my PO box. I love it. The little santa snow globe is so cute and as I make Fairy Floss for a ...

Hey wee_willie you missed out last year. There was a movable gca cache at the Abbey Tournament. If you bought donuts or a toffe apple you were on top of it and if you got a coffee from gypsy general traders you were next door to it.

Hopefully I'll see you there next year. Kat

Forthferalz I'm a semi-serious trover. Does that count? I saw the author interviewed on Kerri-Anne last year and he said Australian's could win a ring easily unlike the last book which had the token's only available for americians. Personally I think it's an internet search but I'm probably wrong fo...

Read the fine print in the book. If you claim a prize (either a ring or the cash) the US Tax Department will take a third of the money or charge you a third of the value of a ring. So if you win the US$1,000,000 red ring you owe them US$333,333 if you take the cash instead which is US$300,000 you ha...
