Re: The longest GCA power trail in Australia (idea)

How about an IBEM type series per state with a mystery thrown in from the series which can only be solved by visiting the state caches - it could be that the clues are for a cache in another state (similar to the XoE series) to provide the link to the various caches. Admittedly the Territories would...

Re: The longest GCA power trail in Australia (idea)

We have the following ideas. Cons: Too much "speeding past" the wonders that the less travelled trails offer. Cons: GCA caches (not always sought after), may languish. We all play the game differently. We try to pick up any GA caches that we go past and are often looking for a "different" track to ...

Re: The longest GCA power trail in Australia (idea)

The issue with the explorers trail is that many points are just not accessable. I recently completed quite a few of the B&W caches in Western NSW and some you just can not get to. I like the I've been everywhere man idea or the caches along a latitude. True modern day replication of the Explorers t...

Where did H&H go?

Re: The longest GCA power trail in Australia (idea)

And here I was think the Burke & Wills trail may be that......

Perhaps we need an "Explorers Power Trail" series. Do I have any takers to start the Hume & Hovell trail?

If we could also add a "filter/check box " for caches from "other" sites such as opencaching that would be good. I have noticed some caches being listed on multiple sites and would be good to be able to ignore these ones.

Only 168 :gnome :gnomette rescued or shuffled around for Black Bunny on 95ish unique ones, but as Yurt said things are slowing down.

I feel that our trip down south in a few weeks for the BBBS event may see some new :gnome :gnomette added to that total.

Re: using your iPhone geocaching overseas..

.........Not sure of the limit ....... 4000 active caches displayed. To get around this while doing road trips, I have different groups for each region/listing site and cahe types so I can turn them on/off at will. It is no good trying a 2 hr walk if you are on a time limit to get to a wedding.... ...

Canberra gnomes kidnapped by the GGG, with the aide of of a forward observer stationed at Oberon (Heave-Ho) formed the Gnome Liberation Front, and convinced a cadre of gnomes currently resident in the Blue Mountains environment, that their services were required in the ACT. http://geocaching.com.au/...
