Ho about a 10inch eeepad with gdak and oziexplorer ? And a handheld GPS for the hunt.
I have posted a photo in another thead on this forum, we have done rwo missions so far and will not go back to the laptop and many addons.

cool , but yep it does need development to interface it with things like gdak and be a little more animated, with more options like those on the pc version.
most of all be able to open a gpx file from all sources, hopefully if enough people use it development might come quicker

get/use gsak to export a html file of your selected caches, all browsers will read it, paperless caching on the cheap

I'm just saying that it's a BETA. If you use it as your primary tool and it goes wonky on you, then for the average user it may be tricky to recover from it. I have 7.x installed and 8 (build 118) installed at the same time. That way I get stability and when I feel like it I play with the new one. ...

my tablet is humming along, without being able to link Ozi and GDAK has proved to be no problem ! with both opening and the gps happily talking to both , all i do is toggle between screens, to read all about the cache then go back to ozi. so after 2 minutes at the start of a run synced to the lappy ...

just found that all apps work at once on the gps switching between is easy ! till they join gdak to ozi ! hint hint
