Don't know if this has already been asked, but; Is there a way of assigning different symbols to the different types of caches when you upload the way points to your GPS? Just before sending waypoints to your GPSr click on the "chagne" button. You can set the icons to whatever your GPSr supports. T...

GSAK 5.1.3

Just a reminder that GSAK is now up to version 5.1.3 You should have already been notified by the GSAK automatic update, but some of you may have this turned off or be behind a corporate firewall which will not let this feature work. Download here http://gsak.net For a list of changes please see htt...

Re: Another feature for inclusion

after playing with "spoilersync for a few weeks, i thought "what a great feature for GSAK," But now i have had a second thought. perhaps rather than LEeCH all the graphics from every cache in a GPX file, that perhaps gsak could do a check run and mark a flag for users to idnicate that photos/extra ...

I have found an inconsistancy in the way GSAK handles img tags. The inline images appear correctly in the cache description but not when the image is in the log. I downloaded the WA and NSW gpx files from <a href="http://geocaching.com.au/gpxbeta/">here</a> to check.<p> TLC's Blair Witch <a href="h...

Not quite sure what you mean by interrogate or rather what this entails. I will double check known caches where the Travel Bug was removed recently and have had the logs updated in GSAK and see if the Travel Bug is still showing in GSAK. What I am alluding to here is that it looks like a GPX proble...

Like many of the columns in GSAK that show an icon (For example, lock status, travel bug, archive status) you can just double click your mouse to toggle the status. Okay, will do, but I assume this should be auto updating from the PQ. Is that right? Andrew Yes, certainly. However if the cache has b...

Hi Clyde Just a quickie I hope in respect of Travel Bugs. I have Travel Bugs showing as being in caches, when they have been retrieved from those caches and the latest PQ run and imported. Thoughts on how to get GSAK to stop showing bugs which are not there? Like many of the columns in GSAK that sh...

My GSAK only seems to mark out the cache code column in red for caches that are "Unavailable". If a cache has been "Archived" the cache code column still appears in white (for an unfound cache). This has resulted in some unnecessary travel to an archived cache location. I am sure that GSAK is capab...

Will send you a screen dump shortly, but for background, I am using the GPX files downloaded from GCA, so I assumed that in split screen mode, I would be looking at an offline version of the GCA page, instead I am looking at an offline version of the old page from gc.com, where the cache was origin...

Just the one hiccup so far that I have found, When looking at GCA listed caches, that were originally listed on gc.com, the split screen view in OFF line mode, shows the old gc.com page, however when I select the link on the page to view the data ON line it is refering straight to the correct page....

Is there a way for GSAK to show that a cache has been *Temporarlily Disabled*? Is this information present in GPX files? It's very frustrating to head off to find a set of caches in an area, only to find some of them have been *Temporarily Disabled* My standard method for a day's caching will be to...

When I get the latest pocket query from gc.com tomorrow will upload as requested for you to have a look at it. Andrew Files uploaded as requested ... Aushiker*.* refers. Nice work Clyde, I like the improvements, I'll need a while to digest them all. The toolbar/searchbar editing is a bit tricky, puts a little too much onus on the accuracy of the user. - R Yep, I concede that. However, the fancy tool bar utility that did all the cool stuff cost $400 US, so a bit har...

Just wondering if there was a way to stop execution of html (or at least specific bits such as sound) while online. I don't mind it displaying the html but at least one cache here has a quite loud dound file associated with it (annoying if I open it at work). The obvious solution is to go find the ...
