Woohoo, thanks guys for organising this. We are looking at this an an "investment" in the future - hopefully the kids will be keener to go out caching now that they have their own caching IDs! Whe I checked a little while ago, the ACT was leading the way - as they say about the small countries at th...

I got some magnets from the Art Store - they had packets of disc-shped magnets in 2 sizes, approx 10cent piece size and 20 cent size. They were only a few bucks (I don't recall exactly how much). They aren't terribly strong, but should do the job stuck to the outside of an eclipse tin.

Incorrect coordinates in downloaded waypoints

We recently went holidaying in the Northern Territory, and had something unexpected happen. Before we left, I created a pocket query of all caches in NT. Using GSAK, I deleted the waypoints for caches we wouldn't be going near or wouldn't be able to do for some reason. I uploaded the resulting GPX f...

I just keep a hat, sunnies, Leatherman, compass, pen, spare pen, the GPS and a small container of swaps in my backpack, which I take everywhere. Sometimes I also throw in gloves and a torch. If I'm going caching, I usually take a water bottle as well. I know some people take spares in case the cache...

Firefox v1.5

I've been using it as my default browser for many months, without any problems.

*sigh* I must be part of that special 0.1% of the population. Tried clearing my cache and trying again, same result. So I switched to IE, cleared the cache and tried again, same result.

Oh well, the stars I have are adequate...

Thanks very much. I'm leaving at the end of next week. I now have 4 or 5 trackables to take. I'm a bit conscious that I'm unlikely to gather as many to bring home, so don't want to overdo it.

Cheers

Any TBs heading for England or North America?

Hi, I'm travelling to the USA, Canada and England around late May/early June on business. Obviously, I'm hoping to pick up a couple of caches while I'm away. If anyone has any TBs of GCs they are keen to move, please let me know or send them my way. I'm already keeping an eye out in my area! I'll be...

Aha, tried to access the Stats link from work today (using IE), and it worked perfectly. Someone has fixed the bug, I thought.

Just tried accessing it from here at home, still no go. I'm on Firefox v1.5, it seems to be a browser-specific bug.

I've had the problem acts2youthgroup hit in the past, but could usually work around it by clicking on another link. The CachesStats link is still dead though, any word on when that's likely to be rectified? I know it's not about the numbers, but for some tragics such as myself geocaching is a bit li...
