GC caches being archived on GCA

It seems that some GC caches are inadvertantly getting archived on GCA even though they are still active. This was brought to my attention by a cache owner I have been guru to. Case in point: GC1N6KD Under my Umbrella. The cache has not been archived at all, but something somewhere has archived it o...

Swampys cachemobile is making a trip but that would be in May.
Quite happy to take them if they still haven't left by then.

The only way I can think of running GSAK and not leave ANY registry entries is to boot the PC from a live file system CD, run GSAK from your USB drive and then turn the computer off and reboot normally.

BUT I could be wrong.... Have been wrong before and will be wrong in the future....

Have you checked for leaking capacitors? Or caps with the silver top bit bowed? That is a sure fire cause for lots of random happenings, including IDE chain dying, random freezing, hanging during bootup, etc. Two choices with leaking caps. 1. remove and replace bad capacitors. 2. replace motherboard...

I don't see why. You were there and he was there and possibly she was there as well. Why can't you share?

Lets face it. Can you both honestly remember who found which cache?

I started with a Legend and now a 60CSx, both have the compass. Change the default speed to 2 or 3 km/h and the wait time to about 30 secs. That way you have to be doing less than the trigger speed for more than the wait time before the compass kicks in. When you want the compass, just stop and wait...

Get Franson GPSGate.
You can use a USB GPS and it can talk to Ozi, a wireless network monioring program like Netstumbler and to a certain extent GSAK (Get center point from GPSr). The program sets up virtual COM ports for your other apps and you can use them all at the same time.

myState members take note!!!!

If you are a member of myState Financial and you do a transfer between members, the website will not let you include a reference to say who you are. I just made a donation using the website and chose the "transfer to another member" option. It asks for the member number and the account number and th...

I'm confident we are. We are sorting out account options and we advise where and how to direct deposit as soon as possible.

Is there a Garmin that you can't use for Geocaching? Generally the ones that are screwed down on a boat or ship!     Any of those you mentioned will be fine for caching. Just make sure you can connect your computer to it - saves so much time and your sanity!

Top finders on the state pages are only updated hourly.
So you won't see an immediate change after you import logs.
I uploaded the logs on either the 3rd or the 4th.
Dashboard hasn't updated since before I uploaded the gpx file.

Hellloooo faeries, I'm not sure but I think I may have found a bug. It happens when I import my logs. Sometimes I import my GC.com logs from GSAK and GCA adds the cache as it hasn't seen it in the daily feed. If that happens, then it imports from my log in reverse order, so when viewed on the websit...
