I for one have given out many favourite points to caches that in themselves are ordinary, below ordinary and even quite crap! But I had a great time at them, and therefore deemed them favourite worthy. Well I don't do that. If the cache itself isn't above and beyond it doesn't get a point or a star...

I consider replacing a cache before contacting the owner to be very rude. How should I know it's really gone? Replacing missing or broken parts (logbook or the container) is acceptable as long there is still a part left which can be identified as the cache.
