Umm. Which weekend and which Mega event? Your post is somewhat cryptic? I know there is a mega event being "discussed" but at this point havent read of any dates. Not that I have followed the threads too closely anyway. It may pay to pop some more information in your post to notify people tha...

I have just been overseas and testing the new MSI Wind U100 mini notebook. Very nice little unit. Atom 1.6gig processor, 2 gig Ram, 80 G HD. A unit well worth looking at. Runs WIFI & Bluetooth, and Full XP (home) included). About $670.00 inc. http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=...

Get an electrical or telecommunications junction box (small size) and screw it to a fence pole..

Put a note in the cache page that you need a screwdriver to open it.

sorry! I had actually found one of these but missed the ethics of Geocaching as I didn't look back far enough (it was published over 4 years ago)<br>In future I will attempt to search back through the archives, I didn't know it was such a serious offence! It's not, I think you took my post t...

Welcome. I always suggest spend a few weeks finding caches to get an idea of how it all works.
This will bring you up to speed on cache types and placements etc.

Cheers.

NO harm done, and welcome to the forums.

It is very hard to pick between Garmin & Magellan. Have you gone to a decent GPS shop and played (touched) both yet? That may help to make a decision as they are very different in feel and operation.

Good luck with it!

This would have been best posted in the software/Hardware section for the best answers.
There is already a number of threads there on the various magellans as well + talk of imported units etc.

Double posting into the buy sell section really isnt needed or polite

Welcome to the forum.

It would be very interesting to perhaps note and report on the formalities required so other states can have an idea on what to expect?
