Suggestion for Cachers Graphs.
As often happens I've found myself poking around graphs under the 'Cachers' tab on the GCA homepage. All sorts of fun and interesting charts there. I was wondering though, if it'd be possible/worth making a graph that displays top cachers by cache types found in a day and maybe a second that ranks t...

Re: Needs Archive on GCA
On GC if a cache receives a Needs Archive log, Ministro is all over it with the 30 day warning before it goes the way of the Dodo. (Thank-you Ministro, love your work). On GCA, as there are no reviewers, if a cache receives a Needs Archive and the owner hasn't been active for quite some time (as te...

Re: A motto to follow when placing caches
We have this on the start of a GCA cache listing: Is this cache one you would do or would be proud to show others? Will others want to seek this cache? That's what I work towards. Ironically the cache of mine I am least proud of is also my most found one..... I have found the same. There is a defin...

Re: Importing Updated Logs.
Don't delete anything yet. Send me your GPX file. ptaurins@bigpond.net.au I'd like to see why it's not doing what it should be doing. Oops, sorry. I missed your reply before I deleted away. When I did it imported the old, incorrect log and the new correct log date. I deleted the old logs on GCA and...

Re: Importing Updated Logs.
I ran the query after I made the changes, hence I couldn't work out why the dates didn't change when I uploaded. It looks like deleting the logs on GCA then uploading a new my finds query should iron out the kinks for me.

Importing Updated Logs.
On the weekend I broke my record for most caches in a day. However, it took me three days to log finds and as a result ended up logging about half of them under the wrong date. On GCA, it has done the unthinkable and thrown my stats out. I went to GC.com and updated the logs to the correct date. I r...

Re: Caching in our Schools
I voted no. I think that there are an awful lot of caches around the area, so quality has and will become more and more important than quantity. Part of hiding a cache is maintenance. You hid it, you look after it. When I hide a cache I hide it for the community. As for the point raised about this b...

Re: The longest GCA power trail in Australia (idea)
Just another thought. This cache page explains it and the map is rather impressive. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC2TFGR Hmm... A giant sketch of caughtatwork's mug across the desert? (Assuming he's our equivalent of Signal) Yowzer... Either that or a giant gnome. I would lo...

Ooh, I've always wondered how to do an image steganograph. Not so easy without something like photoshop.

Re: State borders on the plots
Oh, those plots :-) To put a borders on the map, I would need to draw them on the base map. That's not impossible, but may be beyond my drawing skills :D If anyone else has that level of skill, please have a go and let me know where I can get the file. Community effort helps caughtatwork not go ins...
