Re: The longest GCA power trail in Australia (idea)

"The Backroads to Everywhere" would be cool as you could get off the mail roads , visit tiny towns and have a good deal of caching fun along the way. Was this a typo or intended - in the mid to late 1960's I worked at Milly Milly Station in the Upper Murchison Shire of Western Australia, and our "M...

Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia

What a great idea. Now wouldn't it be nice if I coul hold off until 18 May to make this my gca find number 501, or maybe I should try to make it number 600 instead. Hmmm - decisions decisions. Re: GCA listings of caches in areas where geocaching is banned

Unfortunately lots of cachers only become aware of such a ban on placement when they submit a gc cache, as happened to me last year when I placed one on a ...

Wow, learning new things every day :D .

So, as I understand it, if I include
" *Recommended*, *Overall Rating: 4*, *FTF* "
GCA will pick them up and record them.

Thanks rhinogeo and caughtatwork :)

Hmmm!! I don't recall doing that for the others, I didn't even know about GCA when I found London Bridge.

Thank you, I'll now go to their pages and log the FTFs.

First To Find Stats

My First To Find Stats on GCA don't include most of my FTFs. I have 19 FTFs, GCA only lists the first 6, skips No 7, lists No 8, skips 9 through 18, and lists the one I logged today. I checked a couple and I definitely had the first smiley on them. Happy caching, Keith (the Wandering part of Wanderi...
