Re: Munzees!
Is it just me, or have there been big problems with their website the last few days ? I haven't tried to capture or deploy, but the site and forums have been on and off the air with varios serious database-looking erors.

Re: Caching games this year?
Why not make the pieces Bingo-themed, even if only vaguely ? You could have ducks, legs, fat ladies, and so on. I am sure most of the ingenious folks hereabouts could beg, borrow or steal..heck, even make or buy if necessary, something that could somehow be connected with a bingo call.

Re: Cache on the Canning Stock Route in need of help.
Hmm...I wonder if "Oh, I need to go up and replace a broken plastic box with an ammo can" would be sufficient excuse for the boss (and the REAL boss SWMBO)..

Re: Munzees!
I think Munzees are great, and believe they are the natural successor to all nano and most urban micro-caches. I agree finding a dozen around a shopping centre car park is a bit pointless, but there are plenty of caches like that too, and the points element on Munzees adds to the interest which isn...

Re: Munzees!
I've deployed 7 so far and haven't really had any issues at all (other than me not knowing how to drive the website), some have even been off-line deployments which did their thing once we got back into phone coverage. As with caching, I have found it is worth firing up the Munzee app on the phone a...

Re: notifications & cache logs from GC.com - not receiving
Well, it seems someone has poked a bit of wire up the pipe and jiggled it about a little, a few messages are slowly trickling out now.

Re: notifications & cache logs from GC.com - not receiving
The status page lists the service as "impaired". I guess that's an accurate description, as I am getting a few messages, but nowhere near what I expect..I was thinking yesterday seemed a bit quiet around the watchlist

Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................
Your kids need GPS coordinates to find their Easter eggs You actually give your kids GPS coordinates for where you've hidden their eggs. :o Not yet - we've only just started out - but we do live on an acreage....so maybe next year  When we first started, the kids would leave little margarine ...

Re: Leaving cash good or bad ??
Bad Bad Bad! Imagine if it became common and known - caches would never be safe from muggles! I agree. I always take any money I find in a cache for the same reason. Either leave a swap or leave nothing but your signature I think You could leave a trackable too. :) But yeah, current legal Australia...

Over here in Ireland we have "Challenge" Caches... I like them, and am well on my way on most of them... Some Ideas perhaps? The Irish Top 10 Challenge --> By State Doable? The Irish County Challenge --> By State? The North-West Challenge --> Ummm... this would be tough back home haha The Fizzy Cha...

Re: A little good news story - trackable
They do sometimes have a happy ending... One of mine, the RedHat Cache Surfer ( http://coord.info/TB2RF00 ) turned up in South Africa nearly 9 months after being picked up. It had been somewhat abused, but an emergency care-pack sent from home has got it back on track ! =D> =D> \:D/ \:D/ On the othe...
