With respect to the software. The Blackjack runs Windows Mobile Phone edition and the Treo and Imate run Windows Mobile (pocket PC edition)

Not sure if the caching software is compat. with the phone edition.

I use the Imate and use wap.geocaching.com to log on the run. Will work on most phones.

is this the 8meg legend? if so, you won't fit a major metropolitan city map into 8meg, so, check that first. Yes it would be best to check. I have a stamping Pen which I use to identify myself and then write (read: scribble) other details as date time and swaps. I rearely write a monologue of my adventures, just the facts and let the boys at work hear about the good ones.
