Re: DNF on muggled caches
Some of my longer logs are DNF logs. I find it therapeutic to write about the littany of woes that led to my DNF. Also to ease my frustration at not finding it I compose a poisonous log about the cache in my head as I travel to the next cache :D . I never post a poisonous log - I've calmed down by t...

Re: Team Pathfinder nearing Bundaberg!
G'day Team Pathfinder,
I live near Bundy, but I'm chasing some geocaches at Gladstone this weekend. Back Sunday afternoon sometime. PM me if you're going to be around Bundy anytime after that. Would love to catch up.

Re: Dakota 20 - hints not in cache notes
They are there, you just need to escape back to the main or cache menu (the same screen where you can log a cache as found/DNF etc). Scroll down and you'll find a show hints button (I think you have to have selected 'go' for the cache first). I assume that the hints aren't shown on the description ...

Dakota 20 - hints not in cache notes
I've just got myself a Dakota 20 and everything works well except - the cache notes do not have the cache hints. It shows all the other info including logs OK. I'm downloading caches onto the Dakota from GSAK using GPS button and 'send waypoints to GPS' option. Not sure if I haven't setup the GPS pr...

Two GCA 10th anniversary caches in Canada!! That caught my attention. I'll be there in a few months - I hope they are in British Columbia! Are they in BC? Please let them be in BCcaughtatwork wrote:The two in Canada will probably end up last to find.

Re: what did you like about the oz mega
I liked the activities, the people I met, the relaxing drinks in late afternoon after exploring Wagga Wagga (and finding a cache or two ), the fireworks...Oh! everything really, including finding caches on the Hume H'way back to Canberra and meeting other Mege-eventees along the way.

If you have time hire a car (rent-a-wreck??) and drive from Cairns to Mossman doing the caches along the way. You'll see some great scenery and visit some special places. I've just done them. Doing the caches along the route and on the coast (+Pt Douglas) can be achieved in a day. Drive into the res...
