Perhaps it is more appropriate that people who put caches near playgrounds put in a warning in their cache page that it is in a playground.

My kids want to do a cache, get a toy and have time on the playground, and as a parent it doesn't involve going to the golden arches. :D

Were they in Australia?

I was looking at caches in california (future trip) and saw the name there.

Still impressive against my daily record of 17. :(

Nope. Couldn't find any connection. Haven't discovered any of the TB's from what I can see. The geocaching connection is real strange. Perhaps my email is on an unrelated geocaching site and somehow a connection was made.

Strange Email????

Got this today  Anyone else seen this. I didn't copy the links across. Never been to the cache, actually never been to germany. I have a TB in Germnay at the moment but it hasn't been logged here. Nortons did pick it up as junk email. :? Dear GCW7PW Hunthill (Traditional Cache) in Nordrhein-W...

With regards to these challenges;

30: Has not moved in a week
33: Has not moved in a month

I take it that these cannot be logged until the TB has actually moved, and would be the challenge for that move?

1. Every time your Travel Bug racer moves you select one challenge to check off your challenge list. To clarify what is a move, which of the following is correct? 1. A move is a 'retrieved' plus the 'placed'; 2. A move is either a 'retrieved' or 'placed, so the act of the TB going from one cache to...

Wasn't caching, but got in the car yesterday and switched the ipod onto shuffle and the first song to come up was "A hard rain is gonna fall" by Bob Dylan. I think we got about 300mm for the day!

Yeah we have done that one. Pay $2 for a $1 coin. :D

I think the war memorial may also have had something similar.

When my kids see these machines they bug me to use it.

Ones I know of are at Movieworld, Sea World and there is one at Mt Cootha.

On GCA go "Cachers" then "Stats".

Then select ACT and then select "Top Caches by Finds Events" for Please choose a graph.

It will give you the top 50 events by attendance. :D

EDIT 2 - it is also a nuisance that the GC TB page no longer seems to have been calculating distances travelled on bugs, which will make it a manual excercise to meet the distance travelled challenges. There is a drop down menu on the TB page, which you can select recalcuate distance and fixes it u...
