Mr Router put us onto GPXSonar when we set up our IPAQ and we haven't looked back.

We dont use technology as much as some others do - follow the arrow on the GPSr and have cache notes handy via GPXSonar. Works for us!

I think for most people the journey to a well placed cache and the final "AHA" or "Found it" moment is prize enough. That's the problem when you grow up in the sticks.

I used green paint once, not any more, it stands out too much on this brown, drought ridden land :shock: Only if you are in the South! It only stopped raining up here last Weekend! We use a matt finish green spray paint on our PVC pipes. It tends to blend in quite well with most surrounds up here.

nice idea. If I was closer I would contribute - that being said...I will watch this thread...if it gets off the ground I would be happy to contribute something shiney and round for the birthday boy. I have a few shiney things lying around here.

Would a feedback system on GCA (similar to recommendations/cache rankings) help hiders know if they've got it right? I a not convinced that this would be helpful as it would only be useful for that subset of hiders who frequent GCA. I liken it to preaching to the converted or at least to those who ...
