I have placed 3 x $1 Scratchies as a FTF prize in all my caches as a way of simply saying thank you for being the first to get out there and hunt it down. It's just a small thing but I like to do it and it certainly is not mandatory to have FTF prizes.

A geocaching event is where people who enjoy the activity come together at a picnic, at a restaurant, coffee lounge, camp for a weekend, etc, to socialise, swap travel bugs and generally discuss all things geocaching. Another fantastic episode of Geotalk Spindoc. I really enjoyed listening to the comments of those interviewed and it brought back great memories of my time down in Albury. I can't believe I was the only one to phone in a report while at the Mega. Keep up the good work!

In GC.com go to the Community drop-down menu and click on "Events". Scroll down to the calendar and find "Australia" on any of the dates shown. Click on the date number to bring up all the events worldwide (including Australia) that are occuring on that date.
